The 40th running of the Bluebonnet Sheep Dog brought handlers from across Texas and Ray Masse of Colorado, to compete under the judgeship of well known Irish Judge John Maginn, this past two weekends. Judge Maginn expressed a positive view as to quality of Open handlers along with growing number of novice handlers to welcome the future of the Association.
Since the event is split into two weekends to accommodate novice and open handlers cooperation among members of Texas Sheep Dog is necessary to handle duties related to managing the sheep and secretarial work. Those are greatly appreciated.
Members of the Lynch/Raley families of Crawford are pleased that, again, this event fully served Texas Sheep Dog Association’s competitors.
To competitors and volunteers we are greatly appreciative of your help, to again, make the Bluebonnet trial a great success!
