Hi ,
In order to make sure we can run all the dogs in the daylight, we are planning to start earlier. We will try to run the first dog about 530 PM. Yesterday we had some clouds and breeze and it was tolerable that early and the forecast is for more of that this weekend.
If there is anyone who thinks they can't come earlier, let me know we'll try to make arrangements.
Joanne tried the course this morning with her open ranch dogs and it looks like a 5 to 6 minute course. We'll be using Joanne's sheep which have not been on this field before and haven't been worked much so they should be an interesting challenge.
We'll have water at the set out, water near the handlers' post, water near the exhaust. We have a shaded side of the barn where you can wait to run your dogs. So hopefully won't be too hard on anyone ! We also have a big swimming pond in the front pasture for any dogs, or people, who want to swim.
Mark and I are looking forward to visiting with everyone,
Kay
