This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, October 7, is the entry deadline for the 2024 TSDA Finals! Don’t miss out on your chance to participate—be sure to submit your entries on time.
Also, please note that October 10 is the cancellation deadline, so if you need to make any changes to your plans, this is your last opportunity.
New for 2024:
- Non-members and Open & Nursery dogs without 5 Qualifying Runs (collectively “Non-Qualifiers”) are now allowed to compete in the State Finals in the Open and Nursery classes. However, Non-Qualifiers will not be eligible to become the TSDA State Champion in either class.
- Open Class Non-Qualifiers will also not be eligible to compete in the double lift final.
- To be eligible for the State Finals in Open Ranch, Ranch, and Novice Classes, a dog must compete in 5 TSDA trials (each trial a “Qualifying Run”) in its class during the year of the State Finals.
- The Handler must be a paid member prior to going to the post for a run to be considered a Qualifying Run and for the dog to earn Dog of the Year points.
For more details, please refer to the TSDA Rules.
