Online entries (click here) for the 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Sheep Dog Trials will open on Tuesday, November 15th.  To access online entries, you must use your User Name and Password.  If you don’t remember your password, you can retrieve your password by clicking on the Forgot Password button.  Your password will be sent to you via email.  If your username is blank above, you can follow the same steps above and signup for a new user account.

Following are a few reminders and updates for the 2023 Show:
1. Entries are online only:  All entries must be made on the online platform.  Entries must be paid for in full to be submitted.  Credit Card and e-check payments are accepted.
2. Indemnities:  Indemnities will be electronic for 2023.  Prior to paying/submitting entries, you must view the indemnity in the online portal, click agree, and include your electronic signature.
3. W-9’s:  W-9’s will be electronic for 2023 as well.  Upon submitting entries, the payee on the order will receive an email to submit an electronic W-9.  Please click on the link to submit the W-9.  Premiums will not be paid without an indemnity on file.
4. Paperwork: since entries, indemnities, and W-9 forms are all electronic, there is no paperwork to send to HLSR.
5. Entry Deadline:  The entry deadline is February 1st, 2023.  No late entries will be accepted after this date.
6. Companion Animals: Only animals entered in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo are allowed on show grounds.  All other animals, excluding cow-calf pairs, will be removed per show management.  In addition, exhibitors who do not follow this rule or any other rule of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will be subject to disqualification.
7. Exhibitor Grounds Passes:  New for 2023, Livestock Exhibitor Grounds Passes will be distributed as follows.  One per the first animal entered and one for every additional 5 head beyond the first animal entered.  Additional grounds passes can be purchased for $50 per pass.
8. Exhibitor Parking Permits: Exhibitors will receive a dock pass to park behind NRG Center for the day of the trial.  Passes will be mailed after the entry deadline.
9. Show Date:  The trial has a new date for 2023.  The trial will take place on Sunday, March 5th.
