• Ranch/Novice will have both run on Saturday.  1 day - 2 runs.
• Entry Limited:  80 dogs total.  There will be a Open Champion.
• On Sunday there will be a driving contest for Open dogs.  An added feature of Shallow Creek Sheepdog trial for 2013 will determine the trial champion.  A driving contest consisting of the 3 top open class (combined score of 2 trials) will drive a flock of sheep some 400 yds.  This event is judged on a score of twenty points. Dog will lift sheep some yards from the post turn post in a designated direction.  Points are deducted for failure to keep flock together and moving in desired direction in workman like manner.  Disqualification will occur if dog fails to move sheep or grips sheep.  Contest determines the dogs ability to "take" sheep to designated point.  a made hand trophy by Eleno to be given to winner.
• Nursery will run in Open Ranch Class.  Pay 2 fees for run to count for both OR and Nursery.  One entry fee for run to be only for Nursery.
• Payback by TSDA guidelines.
• Sheep replacement $200.00

Directions

Coming from INT 10 west, come to SA untill you get to 410 (loop) take 410 east, go untill you get to 281, take 281 S, keep going thru downtown, till you get to 410 loop again, take 410 N., then take 2nd exit Southcross/Sulpher/Spring Rd, take a right go 8 miles, take right on Stuart Rd,  trial will be signposted - trial site on right.

From 281 North come to SA all the way, go across town to 410 then take 410 North, take 2nd exit on Southcross, go 8 miles, take Stuart Rd fight,  Trial will be signposted.

From 35 North take 1604 loop, go south, cross under INT 10, keep on going till you get to 3432, take 3432 right, go for about 1 mile, take Stuart Rd.  Trial will be right and sign posted.
