  1. .Because of the number of entries, here’s what I would like to do.  I will have a 2nd field set up.  I intend to run all of the second trial on field 2.  However, I’m going to have the Nursery do it in reverse order.  On Friday afternoon, while the Open Ranch is running on Field 1, the field behind the house, I want to have a Nursery handler’s meeting at 3:30 and run the Nursery on Field 2 at 4:00.  Field 2 is the same field we ran the Novice trial on but the course will run the full length of the field not across.  We should finish the Open and Open Ranch on Field 1 and the 1st Nursery on Field 2.  Then Saturday morning the Nursery will start the day with it’s 2nd run on Field 1.  Followed by the Ranch and Novice.  When the Novice starts, about 11:30, Open 2 will have a handlers meeting on Field 2 and we’ll try to run all of Open 2 Saturday afternoon.  If time permits, we’ll start Open Ranch 2.  Sunday we finish Open Ranch 2 and then Ranch 2 and Novice 2.

  11. Classes: Open, Open Ranch, Nursery, Ranch, Novice Classes will run in that order for both trials.  Classes will run continuously but Ranch 1 won’t start before Saturday morning and Ranch 2 won’t start before Sunday morning.
  12. Handlers meetings at 7:30 everyday regardless of which class is going to run first.
  13. Entry Fees $50 for all classes/Payback $25
  14. TSDA and USBCHA sanctioned 
  15. 240 yd outrun in Open.
  16. Will break for lunch.  Lunch will be offered Friday and Saturday
  17. Stock:  Hair sheep

  19. RV parking if needed.  No hookups.

 

 

Directions

Directions from Whitney:  Go south on Fm 933 to 1 mile south of Aquilla.  Turn right on Fm 1304.  Go to the 1st mailbox on the right.(1/2 mile)

Directions from I-35 at exit 359:  Go west on Fm 1304 for 9 miles.  jAt the stop sign, cross over Fm 933 and go 1/2 mile to the first mailbox on the right.

Directions from Waco: Either come up the Interstate to exit 359 and follow the directions above or go north on Fm 933(Gholson Road) to Fm 1304.  Turn left and go 1/2 mile to the first mailbox on the right.
