The sheep for the Open trial are a different set of sheep than the ones used for the Novice trial earlier in the month.

1. Both trials, all classes, will be in the field behind my house.
2. Will need some scribes and a little bit of set out help.
3. We will be running from left to right so we won’t be running under the power lines. All parking, RV and day parking, will be in the back pasture to the far left as you drive into the field.
4. 2 days- 2 trials - 2 entry fees
5. Saturday—Open, Open Ranch, Nursery Judge Chuck Riley
6. Sunday—Open, Open Ranch, Nursery Judge Gary Young
7. 275 yd outrun in Open.
8. Will break for lunch. Lunch will be offered Saturday and Sunday.
9. Stock: Hair sheep
10. RV parking if needed. No hookups.
11. *A special note. Every once in a while, the absentee owner next to me will come out and shoot a gun a few times. It’s never been a lot nor is it rapid fire. I will make him aware that we will be running dogs so hopefully he will refrain from shooting that weekend but I want everyone to know it’s possible. He doesn’t do it every weekend and lately it’s been so infrequent that it’s almost a surprise when he does. There are woods between us. It helps.
Directions
Directions from Whitney: Go south on Fm 933 to 1 mile south of Aquilla. Turn right on Fm 1304. Go to the 1st mailbox on the right.(1/2 mile)
Directions from I-35 at exit 359: Go west on Fm 1304 for 9 miles. At the stop sign, cross over Fm 933 and go 1/2 mile to the first mailbox on the right.
Directions from Waco: Either come up the Interstate to exit 359 and follow the directions above or go north on Fm 933(Gholson Road) to Fm 1304. Turn left and go 1/2 mile to the first mailbox on the right.
