The entry fee is $95; $55 will go to payback and $40 to trial expenses. Any profit after expenses will be put into Added Money.
Payout will be allocated as follows:
Open:
1st go: 20%
2nd go: 20%
Combined score: 20%
Double lift: 40%
All other classes:
1st go: 30%
2nd go: 30%
Combined score: 40%
Your entry fee includes dinner Friday and Saturday night for the handler and one guest. Additional guests are welcome at $20 each per night. Please let Linda know if you are bringing guests. Please include payment for dinner with your entry fee.
Payback is based on the number of dogs to leave the post and TSDA guidelines.
Hander/dog sponsorship money stays in the class in which it was raised unless designated otherwise by the sponsor.
A maximum of two (2) premiums per class per handler will be paid.
To be eligible for the State Finals, a dog must compete in 5 TSDA trials (each trial a “Qualifying Run”) in its class during the year of the State Finals. For more details, see the TSDA Rules.
The Finals is considered one trial with two runs. Points will be based on the combined scores of the two runs and per TSDA guidelines.

To reserve a room in the block, call the hotel directly and tell them you are with TSDA. The deadline to reserve a room at the discounted rate is 11/2 by 3:00 pm.
La Quinta is pet friendly and there is a large grassy area to walk the dogs. The hotel is undergoing a renovation so we anticipate it being super nice this fall!
