Limited to 60 entries for combined Open and Open Ranch. Maximum of two dogs, although if trial does not fill up, may allow a third dog. Send a separate check for the third dog.
Class Order: Friday: Open1, OR1; Saturday: Open 2, OR2
Sunday: Nursery1, Nursery 2, Ranch 1, Novice 1, Ranch 2, Novice 2. Ranch 1 will begin immediately after the Nursery classes have been completed, but not before 10:00. Nursery class will require at least five entries to run.
All entries received by 10/16/2024 will be considered the same and will be prioritized first. Entries will be closed when and if 60 Open and Open Ranch entries combined are reached. Classes: 2 trials/3days/2 entry fees.
Make checks payable “John Lewis, Special Account.” PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THEM PAYABLE TO TSDA! Send them to John Lewis, 13437 FM 2093, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. Checks will be cashed 10/30/2023. Payout will be according to TSDA guidelines.
Open outrun: 400 yards. Stock: fine wool range ewes. Sheep replacement fee $300

From Fredericksburg:
From the intersection of Hwy. 16 and FM 2093 (Tivydale Rd.) just south of Fredericksburg, drive 13 miles west on FM 2093. Turn left (south) on Pump Station Rd. (There is a cell tower on the left near this intersection.) Drive over two metal cattle guards, cross the Pedernales River on a concrete low water crossing, drive up a short hill and out of the river valley and the trial field is on your left. (The trial field is less than half a mile from Tivydale Rd.) Park in the field on the right side of the road.
From the west:
Turn off Interstate 10 at the Hwy. 290 exit toward Fredericksburg and Harper. When you get to Harper (about 17 miles), turn right (south) at the second blinking light on to FM 2093 (Tivydale Rd.). (The Harper school will be on the left (north) side of Hwy. 290 at this intersection.) Drive about 9 miles and turn right (south) on Pump Station Rd. (There is a cell tower on the right near this intersection.)
